Skip a pool and the app asks for the reason: weather, no access, customer asked. The reason stays on that customer's history.
Service history links
Text the customer a link to a visit or the pool's history, with the checklist answers you choose to show. Photos on job notes come with Pro.
Cost
Per-pool pricing vs one flat price
Skimmer charges per serviced pool each month, with a plan minimum[1]. We charge one price for the business. Move the slider to your pool count.
Skimmer prices from its pricing page[1]: Getting Started is $1 per pool a month with a $49 minimum, for up to 49 pools. Scaling Up is $2 per pool with a $98 minimum. Skimmer shows no yearly price, so its yearly cost is 12 monthly payments. Skimmer's free first month on Scaling Up and its add-ons are left out. Taxes and payment fees are left out for everyone.

Is there free pool service software?
Yes, with limits. Our Free plan has no time limit and needs no card. It covers 50 job sites, 50 completed visits, 8 invoice sends a day, 2 routes, and you plus 1 teammate. It shows ads. Water balance (LSI and doses) is included.
Be realistic about the visit limit. A weekly route of 30 pools makes about 130 visits a month. So Free lets you try the app on part of your route. A working pool route needs Pro.

One price for the whole business
Pro is $34.99 a month, or $274.99 a year ($22.92 a month). It covers unlimited pools, visits, routes and techs, with no ads. See pricing.
Pro also adds a branded pay page, photos on job notes and live crew pins. AI customer import turns a photo or PDF of a paper customer list into customers you review.

How much does pool service software cost?

Does it calculate LSI and chemical doses?

Does it optimize pool routes?
Not by drive time or traffic. It puts a day's stops in GPS order (nearest stop next, or one direction with no doubling back), and you drag stops to adjust.
Can my customers pay by card or autopay?
No. There is no built-in card processing or autopay. Your invoice shows your own Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or Apple Pay, so the money goes straight to you. If you need AutoPay, Skimmer has it.
Is it only for pools?
No. It runs recurring routes for pool, lawn, cleaning and bin cleaning businesses. You turn on Pool Water Balance in settings, and it adds the water tests to your checklist.
