Bin cleaning software
Bin cleaning software for weekly can routes
Business Manager 4Home Pros is bin cleaning software built for repeat work. Put each street on the day after its trash pickup, clean in GPS order, and tap Done to bill each home. Start free. Pro is $34.99 a month for the whole crew.
Why it fits
Bin cleaning is route work, not quote work
Most bin cleaning repeats on a fixed rhythm: weekly, every two weeks or once a month. The best day is usually the day after trash pickup, when the cans are empty and still at the curb.
That means the same homes, on the same day, every cycle. Each stop takes minutes. So the software has to do three things well: repeat the schedule, put the stops in order, and bill without paperwork.
That is what 4Home Pros does. It also runs lawn care and pool routes, so you can add services later in the same app.
Pricing per can
Set the price on each home
Each home is a job site with its own price: one can, two cans, or a can plus recycling. Charge per cleaning, or bill a monthly plan once a month no matter how many cleanings it includes.
Customers pay you directly through your own Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or Apple Pay, shown on the invoice. We take no cut. Record cash and checks in the app.
How it works
Trash bin cleaning software, step by step
- Add your homes. Each address is a job site with its price. Have a paper list? On Pro, take a photo of it and AI customer import builds the customers for you to review.
- Set the schedule. Weekly, bi-weekly, every 4 weeks, once a month or every 3 months. One-time cleanings work too.
- Match trash day. Put each neighborhood on the route day after its pickup.
- Order the stops. Put the day in GPS order: nearest stop next, or one direction with no doubling back. Drag any stop to move it.
- Tap Done at each home. The visit is billed. The charge lands on the customer's balance by itself.
- Cans not out? Skip the stop. The app asks why (no access, customer asked, weather), so the reason is on record when the customer calls.
- Send invoices. One customer or a whole batch, by text or email.
Helpers stay out of the money. In crew mode, your team sees stops and notes. They never see prices, balances or payments.
Cost
What bin cleaning software costs
Two vendors market to bin cleaners: GorillaDesk has a bin cleaning page[2], and QuoteIQ publishes a bin cleaning software list[4]. Here are their published prices next to ours.
| GorillaDesk | QuoteIQ | 4Home Pros | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly plans | Basic $49, Pro $99, Growth $149[1] | $29.99 to $699.99[3] | Free, or Pro $34.99 ($274.99 a year) |
| Routes | 1 route on each plan; each extra route costs $30 to $100 a month[1] | — | 2 on Free; unlimited on Pro, no extra charge |
| Extra users | — | $25 per user a month[3] | Unlimited crew on Pro, same price |
| Trying it | 14-day trial, no card[2] | Card required to start[3] | Free plan, no card, no time limit |
| Card payments and autopay | Stripe or Square; autopay[2] | — | No. Your own Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or Apple Pay |
| QuickBooks Online | Yes[2] | — | No |
| Tap Done, visit billed | — | — | Yes, per visit or once a month |
A dash means we didn't check that feature for that vendor. GorillaDesk counts a route as one technician's schedule[1].
Worked example: two trucks
Two trucks means two routes. On GorillaDesk, that is Basic $99, Pro $149, Growth $249 a month[1]. On 4Home Pros, Pro is $34.99 a month for any number of routes and helpers.
Free covers 2 routes too, but only 50 homes and 50 completed visits. That is enough to try the app on one street. A working route needs Pro.
Honest fit
When to pick something else
- You want customers on autopay with a card on file. GorillaDesk does this through Stripe or Square[2].
- You need QuickBooks Online sync[2].
- You win most work through quotes and want automatic follow-ups[2].
- You want routes optimized for mileage[2]. We order stops by GPS position, not drive time.
- You want online booking or AI phone answering. We don't do either.
Our App Store listing is young (5.0 from 8 ratings), and we are a small team.
About the lists
A note on "best bin cleaning app" lists
A top search result for bin cleaning software is a top-8 list written by QuoteIQ, and it ranks QuoteIQ first[4]. That is normal: vendors write these lists. This page is ours.
So check the sources below, and try the free options on your own route. Ours needs no card. See pricing for what Free and Pro include.
Want to run it by chat? Our AI connector works in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps. Log cleanings, record payments, or ask who owes you.
FAQ
Questions
What is the best software for a bin cleaning business?
It depends on how you get paid. If you need card autopay and QuickBooks, look at GorillaDesk. If your work is the same homes every week or month and you want one flat price, 4Home Pros fits. Try both on a real route before you decide.
Can I charge per can?
Yes. Each home is a job site with its own price, so a two-can home can have a two-can price. Bill per cleaning, or once a month for monthly plans.
Can I schedule cleanings for the day after trash pickup?
Yes. Set each home to repeat (weekly, bi-weekly, every 4 weeks, monthly and more), and put each neighborhood on the route day after its pickup.
Is there a free bin cleaning app?
Yes. Our Free plan needs no card and has no time limit. It covers 50 job sites, 50 completed visits, 8 invoice sends a day, 2 routes, and you plus 1 helper, with ads. A full route needs Pro at $34.99 a month. Add 3 customers, 1 job site and 1 charge and every Pro feature unlocks for 14 days. No card.
Can customers pay by card or autopay?
No. There is no built-in card processing or autopay. Your invoice shows your own Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or Apple Pay, so the money goes straight to you.
Can I see where my crew is?
Yes. On Free, you see each crew day for the last 7 days and can request a location 3 times a day. Pro adds live moving pins, Follow, and full history.
