Try asking

What owners ask it

  • Give me my business summary.
  • Who owes me money? Draft a friendly reminder for each one.
  • What's left on today's route, and who on it owes me?
  • Mark the Johnson yard done. Skip Maria, it rained.
  • Record a $120 Zelle from Maria Lopez.
  • Add Tom Reed, 555-201-3344, 12 Palm Ave, weekly on Tuesdays for $45.
  • How did this month compare with last month?
  • Which houses we did this week have a note about ryegrass?
  • The Garcias cancelled, they're moving.

What it can do

Read, change, and stop at the right line

Reads: business summary, today's schedule (with who owes money at each stop), customers, job sites, visit history, notes (site, crew job notes, customer and visit notes), charges, payments, invoices, expenses, team, and a month-by-month money report.

Changes, if you allow it: log visits as Done or Skipped (a Done bills the visit, exactly like the app), record payments and expenses, add charges, add and edit customers and job sites, cancel or restart service with a reason.

Never: sends texts or emails, publishes invoices, moves money or changes your settings. It drafts messages; you send them. It asks before anything that deletes.

It's free for accounts with up to 15 customers, and included in Pro.

Setup

Connect it in five minutes

The only thing to copy is the link: https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp. If an app asks for a Client ID or Client Secret, leave them empty. The app registers itself, and you sign in with your normal account.

Claude (web, desktop, iPhone, Android)

  1. Press Add to Claude. Claude opens the Add custom connector form with the name and URL filled in.
  2. No form? In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name Business Manager, URL https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp. Leave Advanced settings empty.
  3. Press Add, then Connect. Sign in (Google, Apple or email) and press Allow.
  4. In a new chat, turn on Business Manager in the tools menu and ask for your business summary.

Once added on claude.ai, it also shows in the Claude phone and desktop apps.

ChatGPT

  1. chatgpt.com → Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode → Create.
  2. Name: Business Manager. URL: https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp. Authentication: OAuth.
  3. Sign in and press Allow.
  4. In a chat, pick Business Manager from the + menu.

ChatGPT renames these menus often. Look for "connectors" or "apps".

Grok

  1. grok.com → Connectors → New connector → Custom.
  2. Paste https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp and save.
  3. Sign in and press Allow when asked.

If Grok asks for a header instead of a sign-in, use an API key (see Developers below).

Gemini

  1. In the Gemini app, open Connected apps → Custom apps → add a new app.
  2. Paste https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp, sign in, and press Allow.

Google currently offers custom apps to personal accounts in the US.

Perplexity and Le Chat (Mistral)

  1. In the app, open Settings → Connectors → add a custom (remote) connector.
  2. URL: https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp.
  3. Choose API key / Bearer authentication and paste a key from the Business Manager app (Profile → Connect an AI assistant → Advanced).

Developers: Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code

  1. Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http business-manager https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
  2. Other tools: add a remote MCP server with the link. If a tool can’t sign in with OAuth, send Authorization: Bearer bm_live_… with an API key from the app.

Turning it off: in the app, open Profile → Connect an AI assistant. Every connected assistant is listed ("Claude · can view and make changes · last used…") with a Turn off button. It takes effect on the assistant's next request.

Privacy

AI connector privacy notice

This notice covers the Business Manager 4Home Pros AI connector (the MCP server at https://app.4home-pros.com/mcp, also reachable at https://gigman.io/mcp). It adds to our privacy policy.

What the connector can reach

Only the business account you sign in with when you press Allow. It can read that account's customers, job sites, visits, charges, payments, invoices, expenses and team list. If you leave "Also let it make changes" unticked, it can only read.

What the AI app receives

When you ask a question, the connector sends the answer to that question to the AI app you connected (for example Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT, xAI's Grok or Google's Gemini). That company handles your chats under its own privacy terms. We don't receive or store your chats.

What we store

  • The connection: the AI app's name, your sign-in email, the permissions you granted, and when it was connected and last used.
  • Sign-in tokens, stored only as one-way hashes. Access tokens expire after 1 hour; refresh tokens after 180 days, and each refresh token works once.
  • Daily counts of connector requests (per tool, per AI app and per account), used to keep the connector working and improve it.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use your business data to train AI models.

Your controls

  • Turn any connection off in the app (Profile → Connect an AI assistant → Turn off). Its tokens stop working on the next request.
  • Crew members who sign in reach only their own account, never the business they work for.
  • To delete your account and its data, or for any privacy question, email RichardSV15@gmail.com.

FAQ

Questions

Is the AI connector free?

Yes for accounts with up to 15 customers. Pro includes it with no limit.

Do I need a Client ID or Client Secret?

No. Leave those boxes empty. The AI app registers itself, and you sign in with your normal Business Manager account.

Which AI apps does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, Perplexity, Le Chat, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other apps that support remote MCP servers.

Can it send texts or emails to my customers?

No. It can draft a payment reminder for each customer who owes you, in English or Spanish, and you send it yourself.

Can it delete things?

Only if you allowed changes, and the AI asks you first. You can connect it read-only instead.

Is this the same as Jobber’s ChatGPT connector?

It’s the same kind of connector (MCP). Ours can also log visits as Done or Skipped, which bills them, and record payments. See Jobber vs 4Home Pros.

Ask your AI assistant who owes you money.

Free for your first 50 job sites. No card. Same account on iPhone, Android and the web.
